Teatro Tepeyac Carmen Montejo is one of the established theatres in the northern part of Mexico City, opened in 1960. Designed by Luis Zedillo Castillo under the supervision of architect Alejandro Prieto, the venue has 688 numbered seats. Its traditional theatre layout is complemented by an Italian-style stage with a revolving platform and an orchestra pit, making the space suitable for drama, music and a variety of other stage productions.
