Concert Hall at The BJCC is one of the principal performing arts venues within the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex. With a capacity of approximately 2,835 guests, the hall opened in 1974 and was designed as a large theatre and concert venue with the stage forming the visual focus of the auditorium. It regularly hosts touring concerts, major theatrical productions, family entertainment and Broadway performances, giving it an important role in Birmingham's cultural and entertainment calendar.
The interior is suited to events where clear views of the stage and effective sound projection are central to the experience. Reserved seating and an organized auditorium layout provide a comfortable setting for longer performances, while food and beverage concessions are available during events. Its traditional large-scale performance-hall format works equally well for concerts, musicals, ballet and other stage productions.
The venue is located at 2100 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N, Birmingham, United States, within the larger BJCC campus in the Uptown area. Numerous parking lots and garages are available within a short walk of the complex, while the Concert Hall can be accessed through its main entrance by BJCC Green and an additional entrance from the 11th Avenue parking area.
