According to official information from that nonprofit organization, it is an organization registered under the U.S. 501(c)(3) model that works in the areas of suicide prevention and mental well-being among members of the Blackfeet Nation. Firekeeper Alliance brings together mental health professionals, educators, lawyers, musicians, language keepers and public health specialists. Its approach includes counseling support, cultural and creative programs, and activities aimed at strengthening connection, healthy ways of coping with stress and access to support. The organization explicitly identifies its partnership with the festival as one of the ways in which such programs are expanded.
At the 2025 and 2026 editions, this cooperation was visible through workshops, panel discussions and programs connecting music, mental health, cultural identity, sovereignty, art and local knowledge.
